This fierce warrior is both the heart and muscles of the Dairy Revolution. Sent to prison for killing a Royal Dairy Army officer during a bar brawl, Jack was the most feared convict in Detroit Dairy Penitentiary. It was Jack who made the initial mistake of thinking John was Scooter McQueen, contacting the outside and helping to plan the jailbreak to free Scooter. It was also Jack's decree that Scooter not be touched by any prisoners that led to an unknowing John's remarkably easy time in jail.

But Monterey Jack has a few skeletons in his closet as well. It was recently revealed that he is, in fact, the adopted son of Melvin Swarthmore, Jr., whose own father is the infamous non-dairy creamer titan Melvin Sr. Despising the easy life lavished upon him thanks to his last name and smarting over the breakup of his engagment to wealthy socialite Petunia Monroe,  Jack disappeared from his family and joined the Royal Dairy Navy Commandos, where he quickly  became a lieutenant on a career  fast track.

After five three years of service, though, Monterey Jack was kicked out of the military for coming to the aid of a down-on-his-luck piece of cheddar who had wandered into the path of a pissed-off Navy Admiral. The skirmish caught the eye of Scottish Mel, himself a former military officer, who quickly recruited Jack into the revolution.
